As part of our services for major home renovation, we will investigate local zoning regulations and permits. If you are completing a project that will change the structure of your home or the use of a room, you will most likely need a permit. We will navigate each step of the process so you can rest assured that all the legal points and by-laws are addressed.

Once the plan is agreed to, then we go to work to schedule all stages of the project that need to be done. This is a carefully planned timeline that coordinates trades and sub-contractors. We can take into consideration doing the renovation room by room, by blocking off areas to work while allowing you to remain in the home. This is not ideal, but we work with our clients to meet their needs. If it is a major full-scale renovation that requires opening up the roof, or walls, or decommissioning kitchen or bathrooms, then we will let you know that you need to relocate for a period of time.
